Our members are accomplished professionals in different career fields. We are family-oriented women known as sisters who believe that the family is the nucleus of the society and the women are the backbone of the families. As women who have experienced both the Nigerian and western cultures, we have seen the need to advocate for children, the youths, the elderly, and the abused.
This is why we set the following goals:
- To adequately prepare and empower our children and youths to succeed by providing them with the right skills, resources, and opportunities.
- To ensure the availability of resources and opportunities that will allow the abused to utilize the appropriate modality to address the abusive situation.
- To empower the elderly to engage in the activities that will enable him/her to live quality happy life.
Our maternal instinct and unconditional love for others led a group of mothers to reach out to other women who also share a similar sentiment: the need to help our children and youth navigate adulthood in Nigeria and multi-cultural American society.
We believe that when the home provides our children the basic foundation that will help them to respect the law, be goal-oriented and take pride in working hard, they will be better prepared in many ways to become responsible adults, future leaders and worthy ambassadors of both Nigeria and American cultures.
We are guided by the following values:
Peace, Love, Unity, and Honesty
We’d love for you to join us in achieving our goals. If you have questions on how you can help, please call 215-858-1164.
